Logistics

MINIMUMS.  There is a minimum order of $100 for weekday lunch between 11:00 and 1:00.  Minimums for other times depend upon location, day and time, and are generally $300 for breakfasts, weekday evenings and Saturdays and $500 or more on Sundays and holidays.

DELIVERY.  We can deliver most anywhere, most any time, seven days a week.  Delivery charges are based upon distance, time, day of week, and site.

OTHER FEES.  For more complex orders involving our staffing and managing the event, we can only handle so many such orders and therefore have stricter minimum requirements.  Generally, to compensate for the time we must put into planning and managing the event we ask that you order all foods and beverages from us.  If you must furnish certain foods and/or beverages on your own, we may charge handling and corkage fees.

RENTALS. We can rent for you a wide array of interesting linens, in both solid colors and patterns, as well as china, silver, glassware and other supplies.

SUPPLIES.  Paper and plasticware for ordered foods and beverages are available upon request at no charge with the exception of stemmed plastic wine & champagne glasses and plastic linen ($4).   Ice with disposable ice bowl is $5.

SERVICE STAFF. We furnish professional staff, most of whom are also bartenders. Dress is black and white. Their cost is $30 per hour for the first staff member, and $25 per hour for each staff member thereafter, with a four hour minimum for each.  Figure 2-3 hours each for setup and cleanup in addition to the actual party time.  Rates may be as much as double during holiday periods.  We do not provide service staff only, however.  If you only need staff, look in the Yellow Pages under "Bartending Service".

TIPPING. Please consider tipping the staff if you feel they have done a good job.  $25-$50 per staff member is a common range.

FLOWERS. We are not florists, but we can do interesting floral work.  Table floral arrangements start at $50 for seating tables, and at $75 for buffet and bar table arrangements.  We are happy to cooperate with your florist, though.  Floral garnish is usually added to food trays at no extra charge.

ORDER NOTICE.  A minimum of 48 business hours notice is recommended for simple deliveries.   Significantly more notice may be required for complex orders and/or orders requiring service staff and rentals.

TASTINGS.  For large events, we do offer tastings.  Note that the purpose of a tasting is to help you decide whether you like our food, and not to help you choose between our variety of foods.  There is a $25 fee for a tasting for 2 which is fully credited to your final bill.  You must visit us here at our kitchen or we can prepare a sample box for you to take with you.

PRICES, PAYMENT & DEPOSITS.  Prices are subject to change without notice; however, we will fix prices upon the signing the of contract and upon payment of a 50% deposit. 

The larger of a non-refundable 10% or $500 deposit is required to hold dates for larger or staffed events.  See Contract Terms for more detail on deposits.  We accept all major credit cards.
